OnePWS is involved in the design and development of command center consoles and industrial furniture, primarily used in command and control centers for over 15 years. Our products are considered best-in-class, and through advanced manufacturing and responsible sourcing practices, we continuously evolve our designs to be more environmentally friendly, highly durable, and sustainable.

Our consoles are crafted using handpicked materials from leading global suppliers, including aluminum, steel, high-grade medium density fiber (MDF), and acrylic solid surfaces. These materials ensure a long-lasting structure, with consoles typically designed for a lifespan of over 25 years—maximizing utility while minimizing waste generation.

To support environmental sustainability, OnePWS has identified key practices that are being implemented across pre- and post-sale activities, reflecting our commitment to EPR (Extended Product Responsibility).

This document forms part of our sales strategy and reinforces our commitment to developing environmentally sustainable products. We actively engage customers and end-users in understanding the product lifecycle, along with the measures and commercial benefits associated with responsible disposal at the end of product life.

Our products are delivered with pre-applied color-coded stickers that provide clear guidance on end-of-life treatment for each component:

Material Classification & Disposal Guidelines

Sr. No.Material CategoryEnd-of-Life Treatment Method
01Recyclable MaterialTo be handed over to authorized regional recycling plants/collection centers experienced in recycling aluminum and steel scrap
02Non-Recyclable Material (Suitable for Incineration)To be handed over to authorized agencies operating incineration plants (e.g., MDF incineration for energy generation)
03Materials Requiring Special HandlingTo be handed over to authorized agencies handling electrical and miscellaneous waste (e.g., cables, wiring, etc.)

Sustainable Practices & Solutions

Recycle

Recycling involves converting waste materials into reusable forms or raw materials.
For example, scrap steel and aluminum can be reused in manufacturing new sheets.

  • Approximately 50% of our products consist of recyclable components such as aluminum, steel structures, and hardware.
  • These materials can be easily processed by authorized recycling plants as per regional regulations.
  • We label materials based on recyclability, helping customers dispose of components responsibly.

Upcycle / Mid-Life Refit / Refurbishing

  • Upcycling: Reusing existing materials for new applications instead of discarding them.
  • Refurbishing/Refit: Repairing components to restore their original functionality and appearance.

Our consoles are 100% modular, meaning each unit is built from individually assembled components. This modularity ensures:

  • Reduced waste generation
  • Faster upgrades and maintenance
  • Improved product lifecycle efficiency

We offer:

  • Module extension solutions for future expansion by adding new units
  • Pre-manufactured modules for quick on-site installation
  • Repair, buffing, and polishing of acrylic solid surfaces
  • Replacement of tabletops, side panels, and shutters to refresh aesthetics

These practices help customers extend product life, reduce waste, and minimize energy consumption.
